How to make devilled eggs with a cool black olive spider and how to get spider web patterns on your hard-boiled eggs. The ones made with the blueberries do not taste like blueberries at all, only the colour is transferred not the taste.
I found the idea for the spider web eggs here:

I made a half recipe in the video. Here is the full recipe for a dozen eggs.
Ingredients
12 hard-cooked eggs
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
5 teaspoons sugar
5 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Stuff or pipe into egg whites.
To make the spider web eggs place 12 eggs in a large pot and cover with 8 cups of cold water. Add 4 cups of frozen blueberries to the pot and heat on high. Heat until boiling and then immediately cover and remove from the heat. Allow pot to sit for 10 minutes and then remove the eggs from the pot. Drain eggs on paper towels and then tap the eggs with the back of a spoon, one hard rap should do it. You can turn the egg over and do the same to the other side if you'd like. Place cracked eggs back into the cooking water/blueberries and refrigerate until cold. Peel and serve as hard boiled eggs or split and use them for devilled eggs.
**NOTES**
I let mine sit in the liquid for about 2 hours in the fridge, could be that the lines would have been darker if I would have let them sit for longer. Maybe overnight??
I wasn't impressed with the final result for the amount of blueberries that I had to use. I used some of my wild picked blueberries and even though I used only two cups because I made 6 eggs, it still takes better part of an hour to pick that many!
