Keeping Your Kids Safe with Food Allergies from Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children

Food allergies effect about 4% of our population and many kids in school live their lives with food allergies. Dr. Adthuna Mathuria, allergist and clinical immunologist, Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children, speaks with Will at Great Falls Elementary School about his food allergies.
She also speaks with a parent about food allergies in children, including: most prevalent food allergies, causes, how to introduce food into your child's diet, testing for food allergies and more.
Dr. Mathuria and Will also demonstrate how an EpiPen would be used in case of an allergic reaction.
