Theraphosa Stirmi Goliath Tarantula preparing to feed and walking with a pinkie mouse dinner

A Goliath Bird-eater tarantula has just captured a baby mouse. Notice how the spider works its fangs into the prey as it softens the body in preparation for comsumption. This juvenile 8" Theraphosa stirmi ends the video with a stately walk-around as she looks for a safe spot to dine in peace. The urticating hairs, located on the abdomen, are easily seen.
