STATEMENT:
"100 percent fruit juice, in both fresh and reconstituted forms, “can be a healthy part of the diet of children older than 1 year when consumed as part of a well-balanced diet.” Really? Can be a part of a healthy diet? How?

Dr. Berg talks about the reason why to NEVER give a baby fruit juice. Pediatrics made a recent statement that “Fruit juice has no essential role in healthy balanced diets of children” And they are missing the fact that fruit juice has the same amount of sugar as sodas. In any age, it must be zero fruit juice because there’s no benefits of consuming juice at all, it’s just going to increase sugar and will cause more problems.

Fruit Juice:
1. Same sugar as soda
2. Pasteurized (Dead) product – heating destroys enzymes and nutrition.
3. Liquid Sugar
4. No fiber and no nutrients
5. Creating deficiencies
