*Disclaimer: Any of these species could make a good beginner tarantula. The order of this list is my opinion and not a gold standard. Please don't feel personally slighted if your favorite didn't get the top spot. :)*
This video was a long time coming. Although I'd done videos on all of these species separately, I've never put them all together in one video. I was inspired to do this after watching a couple videos by some other keepers who, I felt, made lists more to be controversial and not so much to be fair and helpful.
Also, although I generally don't handle, I DO mention it in this video as I'm not blind to the fact that many do and, more importantly, many NEW hobbyists do. Personally, I think the temperament of all of these species would be perfect for anyone not handling.
