How to pack a spider for shipping.

Dislike 0 Published on 18 Feb 2017

This is my MM Brachypelma smithi (mexican red knee) who is being sent away for breeding.
Packaging inverts is completely fine, they have air holes and have moisture so they will not dehydrate. No harm comes to the spider at at the most they are in the package overnight (they are always posted RMSD). Spiders feel comfortable in enclosed areas so this does not stress them out, they have poor eyesight as well so being in the dark doesn't bother them haha. I hope this has cleared some questions up on posting spiders and invertibrates.
