Pairing / breeding Salmon pink birdeaters / Lasiodora parahybana tarantula spiders

5 year old female 'Rex' & 3 year old male 'Bonster'. He did survive to breed another day! :)
update: Rex laid her eggs but after she gathered them up she proceeded to eat them. A week later she dug out her burrow so I can only assume she was not happy with its size when she laid her eggs as she would carry the egg sac (which contains up to around 2000 eggs so is quite large) around until they hatch. This is to circulate air flow to the eggs & to guard them.
I will post more updates when one of my new arrivals mature & we try again.
