Brave Whacko Baby Snake Attacking Tongs

I produced a few clutches of Corn Snakes this year and this was one of the babies I video taped yesterday on feeding day but I normally feed all of my baby snakes by hand. I had just finished feeding some of my larger snakes with my tongs and without thinking about the fact that my baby snakes weren't familiar with tongs it was interesting to see how this one baby reacted to the tongs. He definitely was more interested in attacking and beating up my tongs than eating but when I hand fed him he calmed down and ate. I just adore raising baby snakes they have the most incredible personalities and this didn't stress out the snake or he would have fled and the snake wouldn't have eaten :) I wasn't harassing the snake I was trying to distract him to get him to eat but I find it amazing how brave baby snakes really are !!!
