***Before viewing.... Please remember that snakes are living animals. They EAT mice! They don't eat peas.... they don't eat bird food. They don't eat salad. They eat MICE***. And SOMETIMES.... they forget to kill the mouse first. That's life!
This video was taken back in December 2016 when my baby ball python took his first mouse without assisting.
For a few months now, I've been trying to get my baby pastel banana mojave ball python to not only eat right... but to kill his meal first! THIS.... is NOT that video! In this video you will see him eat a live hopper mouse. And it stays alive......
This is a baby I hatched out in 2016 and boy is he a keeper! Great attitude! Great coloring! Great future projects! The only problem??? He just can't figure out how to kill his food before eating it so he has been eating his mice while they are still alive. As cruel as that may sound... it happens to snakes all over the world. This one.... is just caught on video.
Again... snakes eat mice. snakes eat rats. That is what keeps them alive. And if we could feed them carrots....... then it just wouldn't be any fun... :)
