It wasn't until after I'd taken this video & had time to do some research that I discovered these little guys are very harmless little critters known as Eastern Worm Snakes. Apparently they are one of the very few snake species to live underground. Since, I have found several more in the worm farm I made near my house for raising 'livestock' to feed the baby alligator snapping turtle I am raising up (he - or she - started her life as "bait for everything"), and for bugs & worms to feed the odd & end wildlife rescues, raising, and rehabilitations I do around here. :-D
