Can You Re-Freeze Mice and Rats for Snakes after Thawing?

The short answer is no. Today, I go over my attempts at re-freezing frozen/thawed rodents for snake food to re-feed and avoid wasting them. Unfortunately, this has never worked, and only results in gross, smelly dead animals in my freezer. What are your experiences? Have you re-frozen rodents for your pets?
