How to feed a ball python that goes "off feed"

Here is a little trick I learned to get my phantom ball python "Zombi" to eat, she has been on a hunger strike for a little over 3 months and untill she decides to eat on her own this is how I feed her. As long as you are careful and you don't do this more then once a week this will not hurt your snake should you try this method for yourselves. Do not use anything bigger then a pinky mouse for the assist feeding part and be sure to have an appropriate sized pre killed rat ready (by "approriate sized" I meen about one fourth of the snakes body weight if your doing this once a week as suggested, ball pythons should be eating their own body weight in prey items every month). I do not condone "power feeding" which would be sticking another rat into the mouth of the snake right behind the rat it just ate on its own just to get them up to breeding size quicker as the fat buildup that this type of over feeding will cause around the snakes organs is not good for them, it will shorten their life span and could even kill them. Only use this method of feeding if your snake has been off feed for over a month or so and keep at it every week until they decide to eat on their own. Hopefully this will help some of you who are having trouble getting your snakes to eat on their own. The prey items in this video were killed quickly and humanely. Sorry about the background noise my 2&1/2 year old daughter was watching a movie in my bedroom where my pythons are kept.
