Corn Snake Feeding & Poop Talk With Pepper

My neighbor brought his 6 foot long corn snake over, to show my 3 year old daughter how it eats. I only have a few fears, well not things i am afraid of per se, but some things I just don't trust. I think these things are pretty amazing nevertheless. But I cannot read them, so there is where I feel my fear originates, that and maybe the strength and power of the later does it too. But snakes, along with horses, and lightning are those things. Oh yeah, and I will mess you up if you come near me with a cotton ball!
Anyways I like this snake, I don't feel any fear at all. Probably cause it's so docile and sees me as a bigger threat, so it's actually afraid of me. Haha yeah snakey, don't mess with me, I'll eat ya or yer food, err scratch that no, I probably wouldn't eat yer food, especially this feeding, as my neighbor fed her a piece of a chicken weiner, a freaking hot dog! I thought snakes only eat live prey, like it had to sense it's warm beating heart, or something in order to strike? I guess I've been wrong before so I'm able to be wrong again and again. My neighbor warmed up the hot dog and tossed it in. The snake moved around till it sensed it, passed over it a few times, till it STRYKED! It seemed like it was pretty easy for the snake to swallow it, SHE SWALLOWED IT (LoL) a lot faster than when I've seen em eat mice (all-in-all about a few minutes)

My daughter is at that age where she is interested in all new creatures. We went to the Reptile Expo 2 weeks ago and she got to learn about them, but thinks snakes are just so cool, and she just loved this experience. ((At 2:23 in the video, 3 year old Pepper says something pretty damn funny!!!))

Still shocks me tho that this snake ate a freaking hot dog, I would think it only eats things I didn't, like live mice, frogs, moles, rats, bats, small birds or baby chickens, hmmm did I just say chickens? And i would think it lacks the nutrition needed for the snake. Then I think what is in a chicken wiener? Isn't that just a whole chicken ground up, bones, feathers, and all, Into that yucky pink paste we all know is horrible for us. Maybe that's why this snake seems so healthy and bigger than any corn snake I have seen in the past. And then, come to think of it, I don't eat dirty chicken hot dogs, so I guess the snakes does eat things I don't. Haha He told me it already ate the day before, when I asked him to show my daughter how it eats. I did drive him to pet store to try and buy a mouse tho, but we arrived 3 mins late, and it had already closed.

WHAT DO Y'ALL THINK...
about feeding snakes hot dogs, is this a normal practice for snake owners, is it responsible, is there proper nutrition or any at all in a chicken wiener for the snake, could it, or should it eat a 100% beef wiener, or a pork sausage, is this PETA approved???
