How to Force-Feed Your Snake

Bubblegum has been refusing to eat lately. It's been almost 2 months since he's eaten so I felt it was time to force-feed him. I had never done this before, but sometimes you have to so your snake doesn't become anorexic.
I bought frozen pinkie mice from the local pet store and thawed them out until they felt a little warm.
Using a pen cap, I GENTLY opened Bubblegum's mouth, careful not to scratch his gums and then held it GENTLY with my index finger and thumb. I placed the pinkie mouse down into his throat and used the pen cap perpendicular to his body (horizontally) to GENTLY help it down his throat. I turned the pen cap around and used the large end to poke it down his throat further until his muscles took over to swallow it himself. It didn't look like he was doing this, so I GENTLY massaged behind the mouse to guide it down a little more. His muscles took over and he swallowed the mouse!
