(WARNING: LIVE FEEDING) Sand Boa Saka Eats A Live Pinky Mouse on Fast Forward

Please LIKE our video and SUBSCRIBE to our channel! We post videos weekly. WARNING: This video features our baby sand boa, Saka eating a live pinky mouse. For those of you who have followed our videos about Saka, he has refused to eat frozen pinkies and his sister, Asha refused to eat live or frozen. This purpose of recording this video was to better understand how a sand boa responds to a live pinky so we can replicate the frozen thawed pinky in movements so Saka will be interested and convert over. If we had known how difficult to convert sand boas to frozen would be, we would not have bought this snake. We tried every method we could to get him to switch over to frozen such as braining the thawed mouse and warming the thawed mouse is warm water, however, nothing had worked thus far. We did not buy a snake to feed it live prey. Our snake, however, did not convert yet at the time of this video and we take owning a pet very seriously. This was the second of three live feedings. The entire video was actually 48 minutes long, but cut down to 24 minutes as I edited down when Saka was not moving. He was pretty freaked out by the camera, which is why it took him so long.....other feedings had taken him maybe five minutes maximum. We are happy to report that as of July 19, 2015, Saka successfully ate his first frozen pinky!
