Shortcake recipe:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp confectioner's sugar
4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk

Combine the dry ingredients and then add butter. Cut butter into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse oatmeal (no big pieces of butter left)
Stir in flour until moistened.
Turn out onto a floured countertop and sprinkle liberally with flour.
Roll out into a small rectangle ( 1.5" thick, 6x8" approx). Cut into 2-3 strips with a sharp knife.
Transfer to greased cookie sheet and gently form into an "S" shape.
Bake at 400F for about 10-12 minutes until bottom is light brown.
Allow to cool completely.
Cut in half lengthwise.
Spread sweetened whipped cream on bottom half, top with strawberries (sliced) and then add top of cake.
Spread with more whipped cream and more strawberries.

Refrigerate until ready to serve :)
The snake eyes will run once they are in the strawberry head, so add them just before serving. Add the tongue just before serving as well as it will melt and soften in the strawberry and will fall off.
