Snakes Enjoying Time Together

On Gotta 💙 Carpet Pythons, Lily and Jack spend time together. l do give then both time with each other as both my Guys have been around each other for years and l know that they get along and enjoy being around each other as especially being male and female. This is not always the case, so we need to observe our snakes when they are around each other and make sure there is no signs of intolerance going on. Males around males especially during breeding season, are a little more known to be this way but it is not always the case, hence why observation is so important. Snakes are very social creatures amongst themselves, but like us humans they dont always like everyone. So take care when introducing snakes to each other and watch for any signs that they are not getting along and be sure to separate them should that be the case. It does not mean you never try them together again but always remain vigilant. Snakes that get along together are so loving towards each other and my Jack is very much like this with Lily and just wants to lay and cuddle up on her, he is extremely affectionate and l always love watching them and seeing them interact with each other. l see so much of the same interaction between how they respond to me at times as well, who says they dont have emotions and feelings. My guys show me the full spectrum of emotions, observe and you may be very surprised to see that they do. In my previous video l stated that l do not advocate housing snakes together, this a due to the fact that not all snakes do get along together. Many people never have a issue in doing this so l would never say not to do it, but if you are new to owning a snake l would suggest you dont and even though l am repeating myself, observe and know your snakes, watch for signs of it not working. It does not just mean they are being combative, it can just be one snake is being the dominant in the enclosure and the other snake is in constant stress mode about this. This really is a whole other subject and video that l will do so people can have a better understanding of it.
