How To Care For Snake Plants? | How to grow Sansevieria, Mother-in-law's tongue

Snake plant (also called Sansevieria - older name - or Mother-in-law's tongue, its new name is Dracaena trifasciata) is a vivid green colored plant without any stems, it comes with nice looking leaves.
In the video you can see a dwarf one, but it comes in many varieties. Some have longer leaves some have shorter ones, with yellow markings, yellow lines on the edges of the leaves, so basically there are many variations.
Taking care of this plant is easy you only need to keep in mind a few things.

☆ How to care for Snake plants: ☆
- Plant it in well draining soil. Cactus soil is good for example. But you can use normal flower soil as well.
- Give the plant enough sunlight if you want it to be more compacted. Less light will result in more lenghthened leaves.
- Water once a week and wait between watering for the soil to dry out. This is important!
If the leaves are soft that is a sign of overwatering. Repot it and wait for it to recover. Don't water it for a few weeks.
