Derpy Snake

Showing you my Kenyan Sand Boa, which I have been calling Derpy from the start. I fell in love with his derpy little eyes, it was all over, I had to have him.
Derpy is an albino, which means he lacks melanin pigment. Thus, his orange color. What's interesting is that he doesn't have red eyes, like you might expect. They are actually a nice yellow/gold color with a vertical slit, kind of like a cat. And when he looks at you head on, he just almost looks cross-eyed, and kinda derpy! =P
They are pretty cool little snakes, very docile and easy to take care of. You don't see much of them until they get hungry at night. They are the second species of snake (my first being the Western Hognose, another very easy to care for species) I've ever kept, and I'd definitely recommend them to any beginner, as they are slowly becoming more available in the reptile hobby.
