Now the most important way to save species under threat in the wild is by captive breeding. The Snakeman Raymond Hoser is the world leader when it comes to breeding reptiles in captivity. Methods he pioneered in the 1960's and 1970's and published in the 1980's and 1990's in a series of definitive books and peer reviewed scientific papers are now standard practice by reptile breeders worldwide. The Snakeman Raymond Hoser was the first person on the planet to breed the world's deadliest snakes as well as other reptiles by artificial insemination. He also was the first to use "cold turkey" overwintering to breed many previously unbreedable species.
Here the Snakeman shows some baby Death Adders, baby Copperheads, and Tiger Snakes, and their parents, these all being three deadly venomous Australian snakes, which the Snakeman has been breeding by the hundreds for some decades.
