As a globally recognized wildlife conservation icon, the Snakeman Raymond Hoser has bred more rare, threatened and endangered snakes than anyone else on the planet. In spite of this, the thrill, enjoyment and satisfaction of producing multi-generation captive-bred snakes is always at the highest level. This is especially so when Breeding species of Death Adder that the Snakeman himself was the first to discover, scientifically describe and breed many years ago.
Methods first used by the Snakeman to breed snakes and other reptiles, and first published by him are now used by other reptile keepers worldwide. This makes the contribution to wildlife conservation by the Snakeman far greater than that of any other person in history. While Death Adders are dangerously venomous, they do not as a rule bite unless brutally mistreated, which is why the Snakeman is quite happy picking up all the highly venomous snakes in this video, even thiough they have not had venomoid (devenomizing) surgery. All the snakes in this video are entire.
Only the Snakeman Raymond Hoser has the skill and expertise gained from over 50 years of full-time handling, to be able to free-handle any species of highly venomous snake on the planet.
The free-handling is done for the welfare of the snakes as they prefer to be picked up by hand, rather than tormented with sticks or tongs, which at best they tolerate, but usually do not like.
