My Chinese water dragon wouldn't take her treat and having a Kingsnake or milk snake around can be very beneficial.

By nature they just love to eat so they can act as "garbage can animals" for when one of your other animals won't take their rat/mouse.

Just remember to watch your snakes weight and size so that they don't become obese and get health issues.
