Pet rat Loki being pampered

This is little Loki, a 2 1/2 year old rat that's had two strokes in her lifetime. She can't move around well and is often shaky, so she has to stay in a cage by herself. But to make sure she doesn't get lonely, I pamper her every day with lots of playtime, then baby food and Ensure (that's what she's drinking from the syringe), followed by scratches and massages, and finally she usually falls asleep on my or my mom's lap. That's my mom in the vid, courteous enough to feed her so I can take a video.
She's quite the talker when we get her out - and that's a good thing! Rats generally don't make much noise, so when they do, most of the time it's a big deal. It usually means they're either very scared, or very happy. And since we know she's not scared by her body language and willingness to eat, we know she's telling us how happy she is. It's a bit hard to hear, but she's gnashing her teeth a lot in the video - that's her "talking". c:
And yes, that's Ghost Hunters in the background.
