Senior drainage engineer Gerry, very experienced at keeping rats at bay, tells us how futile it is, without the help of customers and their neighbours,He also gives us a test to do, to carry out, using hot red peppers on our fingers. The idea of the test is, if you touch your eyes, red pepper residue still on your fingers even after washing your hands will sting your eyes, if you are touching your eyes during the day, this in Gerry's opinion demonstrates if you inadvertently, accidentally touch the rat's urine there is a very high risk of Wells disease.
Gerry's advice is we get together with as many neighbours as possible, in order to combat the rat population expanding day by day.
Neighbours need more information, feeding the birds after three o'clock in the afternoon could be feeding the rats.
Rats need food, water and shelter.
I hope this was helpful, if it was, ask for more videos, pass onto your neighbour, press the like button.
