Bella Eats a Rat Part Duece

Dislike 0 Published on 28 Sep 2010

Two years after the original vid of Bella, my pet Ball Python, eating her first rat on camera, she's back with a vengence. Now she's 3 years old, and her form couldn't be better. And once again, her supper wasn't quiet about it, either.

And before you ask:
Yes I am holding the rat in my hand and let her strike it from me. She is by far tame enough now and I trust her 100% to do this. If I get struck, well, thats my bad then.

Yes this is in her habitat. I still don't recommend to anyone to feed their snake in it's habitat, but generally Ball Pythons are not known for confusing food and hands, and Bella is no exception.

Yes it's a live rat. No I don't feed them frozen...ever. And yes, I do enjoy it. Not because it's fun to be 'cruel' to live animals, because I respect the circle of life. And by definition live are healthier than frozen, and enjoy knowing my babies are happy and healthy. So hippies, BUG OFF!! :)
