In India most of us hate rats even a mice because of their activities like making holes in ground, cut your clothes and other things and also spreading of various diseases. But if they have enough food, and a habitat for their living. Some day they would be civilized. That day we wouldn't have to worry! Some places in south Delhi and Rajasthan, India, people use to feed them and leave them at their ease.
