My Goliath Birdeater Tarantula eat a large gerbil. I was thinking that this gerbil would be to large for her, but I was wrong. Over in seconds! She knows where to put her 1 inch fangs!
Goliath Birdeater (Theraphosa Blondi) is the largest tarantula in the world. They live in Venezuela and Brazil. Mine is about 26cm in diameter. It`s a large female. Had her for 15 years. They can live up to 28 years and grow over 30 cm in diameter.
She died in 2012...
