There are several foods all ratty owners should avoid feeding to their pet rats. Adult male rats are especially vulnerable to citrus, and it can cause testicular or reproductive cancer. Other foods have neurotoxins, some have vitamin, nutrient, or mineral inhibitors, and yet others will give rats an upset stomach or diarrhea. Try to avoid these foods and keep them out of a happy healthy rat's diet!
