Leucistic rat snake feeds on a rat pup. I do not know if this snake is a leucistic texas rat or a leucistic black rat. If anyone has any info on how to tell the difference please share. The video gets a lot closer up three quarters of the way in.
Nomi is diurnal she is a very active snake which is part of the reason why i love her! She's very interesting to watch. The first two times i reached into her enclosure to get her out she rattled her tail, but she never struck me. She doesn't rattle her tail anymore. When i reach in now i let her smell my hand (like with dogs) so she recognizes me then i take her out slowly. When handling her slow movements are best. She's very curios.
