Cooking | Tasty Nutty Butter Balls | Supplements or Medicine Carrier

Try these irresistible, quick and easy no-bake nutty butter balls for your rat, great for when you need a carrier for your rats medicine, nutritional supplements or just for fun!

*:゚* Ingredients and Alternatives
Plain Flour (alternatives: whole wheat flour or any other flour alternative)
Cashew Butter (alternatives: peanut butter, almond butter)
Flax Seed (alternatives: nothing, oats)

If your balls are still sticky, add more flour.
If your balls are too dry and cracking add a touch of water, or flax seed oil.

If making medicine balls from a tablet, calculate the number of dosages you need to give and create that number of balls from the crushed tablet, I'd use a scale to portion in this situation. Store remaining medicine balls in an airtight container in your fridge.

⚠️ Although I would feed these nut-butter based treats daily to a rat who is not taking their medicine, please take care when giving them to a healthy rat as a treat or a nutritional supplement - they can be quite fatty!
