Caring For Pet Rats

Dislike 0 Published on 4 Nov 2010

This is basically a remake of my "How to care for pet rats" video, but this has more info in it.

Sorry, you may need to pause to read some sections, I tried to put info in without it being too long of a video. If I've missed anything out it will either be in here, or you can just ask & I will try and answer/point you in the right direction.

So I really just made this video for people considering getting pet rats or wanting info about them. I hope it helps.

For for info about the red discharge watch my other video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsBiFgsmc0w

Watch this video on how to introduce rats to each other: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZk8JOQj5mY

Sorry, I know alot of links there. But hopefully I've pointed you in the right direction for all the information you need in looking after pet rats.

If there is any parents out there looking to see what small animal is best to get their child, I would def say rats. They are small, but not small like a hamster that they may crush/hurt, and they're not too big like guinea pigs or rabbits. They very rarely bite, you can sit and play with them for ages (I've personally never had a rabbit/guinea pig/hamster that would do that) and they are just overall more fun. :)

Might make a toys/games/boredom breakers video at some point as well.

Thank you for watching, please no mean comments, just sharing the information i know from studying & experience :)
