Odin the Hooded Rat

Odin is my mom's rat. We rescued him from a pet shop one day when we were looking for some bird toys and we looked at the rats (my mom and I love rats) and there was an adult rat in a cage with a sign that said "I was a great pet but my human couldn't keep me. Please adopt me so I don't become snake food." We picked him up and held him and it was love at first sight he was so sweet and loving, and of course we couldn't allow such a sweet rat to become snake food. He's a fat bugger because my mom always spoils him with table scraps. He doesn't give much care for either of the cats. Kaze tried picking on him once but Odin bit him and that was the end of that. We still have to watch our younger dog with him though because he tries to play a little more roughly than Odin likes. Rats are great pets, Odin is the fourth rat my family's had.
