Oldest owlet swallows an entire rat

This morning the oldest owlet of Rusty and Iris swallowed an entire rat.
Rusty and Iris are two Great Horned Owls with vision in only one eye, so they cannot live in the wild. The International Owl Center in Houston, MN is breeding them to study the vocal development of young owls.
