Wild Rabbit on a Leash!

I haven't posted any videos on my wild rabbit pet for a while, so I decided I'd share this video of her exploring outside in her harness. I managed to harness train her in just over a week (even I was surprised it took so little time)! And now she loves going outside for 'walks', hopping around the yard and nibbling on the grass.

She's about two years old now, and she's happy and healthy as ever.

I rescued this rabbit (who is FULLY wild) from my swimming pool when she was still very little (she'd probably just left her mother) and she bonded with me in just two days. I feed her a fully natural diet of mainly grasses (no pellets) and I take her to the vet every year for her vaccines. She has bonded only to me, and she runs and hides whenever she sees other people.

Now guys, please don't go and try to purposely catch a wild rabbit to keep as a pet. Wild rabbits are NOT like domestic rabbits. They MUST have a completely natural diet to stay healthy, and they need a LOT more interaction to keep them 'tame' (they are WAY more 'flighty' than any domestic rabbit). They are also highly active and need lots to do so they don't get bored - which can make them develop destructive behaviours. So please don't try and take on a wild rabbit just because it's 'cool'. If you rescue a baby and you'd like to try and raise it, do plenty of research first (on wild rabbits, not domestic). Feel free to ask me any questions too if you'd like - I'd be happy to answer. :)
