Here's a time-lapse of a rabbit eating his favorite food for breakfast! What is a rabbit's favorite food to eat for breakfast? Crunchies! For added enjoyment, he likes to eat them out of his toy tube!
He likes to eat breakfast in stages. He begins with crunchies. Then, as part of a balanced diet, he eats in-season vegetables and a small helping of fruit (he enjoys kale and banana, in particular.) He also gets a few multi-grain oats.
You can make a treat tube toy yourself for your rabbit! How do you make this rabbit toy? Get a paper towel roll, cut some holes in it, and use duct tape/electrical tape to seal one end. Pinch the other closed after you've put some crunchies inside! From our experience, heavy duty cardboard rolls work best, so that you can use it over and over again! Have fun! :)
