Rabbit Husbandry - Making a Hay Rack and Feeding Alfalfa Hay to Your Rabbits
We are making a hay rack today for the young Mini Rex litter to help keep them from wasting hay. Alfalfa is a good supplement to add additional fiber to the rabbits' diet. Commercial pellets do not contain enough fiber to keep a rabbits digestive system working as it should so supplementing them with hay is a must if you want to keep your herd healthy.
