Rabbit rearing on cage
Rearing on a case you need to maintain some rules. The preferred case size for rabbit rearing is at list
45 cm × 45 cm × 45 cm
This size of cage is good enough for one pair of rabbit. But if the female rabbit has new baby then give a bigger size case . The cage size preferred
90cm × 45cm × 45cm for them.
For breeding you have to set up a breeding box on female rabbit cage.
Rabbit adulation period
Generally rabbits are get adult on age of 6 month. A female rabbit give birth at 5 to 6 times in a year . At a time and they give 2 to 8 baby. The baby rabbits are get adult with in 6 month.
Pet rabbit feeding habits
The diet of rabbit is divided into two parts
1, Pilate's feed
2, Green feed
To prepare rabbit pilate's feed or Grainier feed you have to mix 9 different materials
1, corn 54%
2, Rice burn 16%
3, Soybeans meal 23%
4, Protein concentrate 4%
5, DCP 2%
6, Vitamin 0.25%
7, Methionine 0.15%
8, lichen 0.10%
9, Salt 0.50%
Mix all the materials in a proper ratio . Then give it to your rabbit. An adult rabbit needs 100 grams of grainier / pilate's feed in a day. A mother rabbit needs 250 grams of feed in a day.
Green vegetables for rabbit
Rabbit needs green vegetables or grass daily. Green food are very important for there health. As green vegetables you can provide cucumber, carrot, spinach etc . Rabbit like Those feeds of food. Put those vegetables and fruits on there daily diet.
