Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care - Rabbits Aren't Good Pets For Children
Like 1 Dislike 0 Published on 28 Jul 2013
It is commonly thought that rabbits are good pets for children, but this is not the case. Regardless of how small, cute or cuddly these pets are, they have highly complex care needs, and need a life-time of commitment. Children, in general, are not capable of committing to the level of care rabbits need.
We STRONGLY encourage adults to only consider adopting or buying rabbits if they want to commit to the care themselves.
Children will enjoy helping occasionally to care for the rabbits in the household, and this should be encouraged as part of supervised sessions only.
