Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care - March 2014 Appeal

Since 1st January 2014 alone, Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care have had 49 new rabbits arrive within their rescue service - all looking for new homes. 29 of these have arrived in the last fortnight, and another rescue case of 10 rabbits are due to arrive within the next week or so!
One rabbit arrived with her litter of 6 babies (around 10 weeks old we think) and has delivered a second litter since arriving. Another has built a nest since arriving and we are waiting to see if another litter will be born.
The vast majority of these rabbits require vaccinations and neutering before they can be considered for adoption, and some of them have come from conditions that have affected their health meaning they will need additional veterinary care in addition to this. Even young rabbits that are too young to be neutered when they are adopted arrive at their new homes with a voucher to cover neutering costs as we feel it is vital that new owners are always encouraged to neuter all rabbits.
All our volunteers offer their time for free, we have no paid staff, so all your money will go directly towards the rabbits in our care and improving rabbit welfare awareness in Glasgow, Falkirk and West Central Scotland.
