Giant Rabbits' Giant Hay Ball - Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care

Here are Kenicke, Pepper & Marius, pets of Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care Trustees Feona & David Bell. We decided to give them a treat and make this giant hay ball.
It's made from 4 planters. We paired them together to get two halves, joining each planter within the pair tightly together with plastic zip-ties. This created two halves of the complete ball. The halves are then held together with high strength velcro straps. This allows us to separate the ball to fill it with hay a little easier than packing it through the spaces.
The ball is then suspended from the ceiling of the rabbits' shed using a chain with a caribener clip at each end - this allows us to quickly and easily unclip the ball to take it away to be filled if necessary.
As you can see, these big bunnies (and their wee dwarf pal Marius) absolutely love it!
