Cottontail Rabbit Fight

Male Cottontail Rabbits "fighting" during peak breeding season in early May in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Consisting of a lot of stare-downs and intimidation with brief bouts of energetic jumping and very little contact. It appears that the Rabbit who loses concentration first and shows a hint of weakness is run off.
