Horrendous Caged Rabbit Farm Must be Stopped

An application has been put forward by Romanian Food Company POE Limited to open a controversial intensive rabbit farming facility in Staffordshire, England. These farms house rabbits in tiny bare cages with only bars to stand on, severely restricting their natural behaviour leaving them with nowhere to hide and nothing to do for the entire duration of their lives. There is very little space for them to move, stretch out or stand on their hind legs. They cannot hop, run, hide, have any form of privacy, move away from faeces, urine and other threats and in many cases they cannot even turn around. This horrendous method of farming is a living hell to the innocent animals subjected to this torment and severely damages their mental and physical well-being leading to a host of issues such as skeletal problems, splay legs, sore hocks from having nothing but thin metal bars to stand on, excessive grooming and repetitive gnawing of cage bars.
