Baby Mice in the Nursery Tank

Dislike 0 Published on 1 Jun 2015

The baby mice are now all 14 days old (in Sally's case around 17 days old), it is time for weaning. The nursery tank still has an electric heater pad to keep them warm for another week, but there is now baby cereal and other weaning food placed in the tank. There is also a sleeping hut since Hugo and Nora are living with the baby mice. They are so busy taking care of the babies that they don't mind being in the smaller tank.

Everyone is doing well. Sally (fawn and white) is growing up fast, Sarah's (white) eyes are fully open, Suzie and Sam (the little runts, brown and white, grey and white) are healthy, Suzie is the most active of all the mice, she is the one doing all the zooming around in this video :) and little peanut Zorro is holding his own and seems reasonably content.
