*** Warning- Lizard does get picked up by dingo. Don't watch if you're very attached to reptiles as it might upset you, however it's not too graphic, the lizard remains in one piece. (Sorry if that sounds harsh).
It's mainly dingos being curious, having a good time. They are so gorgeous.
I took this footage at Currumbin Sanctuary on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. My partner and I found it amusing, mainly because the dingos were just as scared of the lizard as the lizard was of them. They were chasing it and proding at it, wanting it to run so they could chase it. We found it funny how the dingos would jump back, scared when the lizard bit or moved toward them. Their temperament really reminded us of our blue heeler Jessie! Tough but skittish at the same time.
We had a talk on dingos too and the speaker strongly recommends leaving dingos alone in the wild as if they get to reliant on humans, they can get aggressive. Places like Fraser Island, if a dingo comes up to a campsite more than 3 times it legally has to be shot. :o( So please let dingos be, especially DON'T FEED THEM.
