Cute Baby Wolf Snake Tries to Eat Gecko Lizard - Can He Swallow it?

I was fascinated watching this baby snake trying to swallow a gecko, who's head was far bigger than the snakes own head. I know snakes can open their mouths pretty wide to swallow their prey whole, but could this cute little snake actually open it's mouth wide enough or would it have to give up it's prize?
immediately after, I contact my good friend and reptile expert (herpetologist) Rowland at Indigo Expeditions, to find out what type of snake it was. He replied,
'It is a common wolf snake (Lycodon capucinus). Wolf snakes are cool, they are so named because they have enlarged teeth (around where canines would be if they were a mammal). Those teeth are not fangs, they are not hollow and do not transport venom. Wolf snakes are harmless. Did the snake managed to finish its meal?'
Watch to find out :-).
Additional info from Exotics Lair channel:
These non-venomous snakes are endemic to Asia and feed primarily on small lizards and frogs.
