Feeding Bearded Dragons

His previous owner fed Spike, the Bearded Dragon, almost entirely on crickets. He's almost a year old now, so he really needs to have more veggies in his diet. Adult beardies need about 80% veggies and 20% insects, so I've had to slowly wean Spike off from a straight cricket diet and onto a healthier mix of greens and varied insects. In this video, we're trying out a new food called Dragon Bites. I believe it can be used as a staple diet, but with all the preservatives it would probably be better to use raw veggies and insects in their natural, living form.

You'll see lots of videos about my pets on this channel, because I'm not able to have any more human children, but I have a deep need to love and care for others. I've grown my tiny family by adding lots of animal babies. Bulldogs, bunnies, ducks, chickens, snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, fish, and even insects, have all become welcome additions to our home.
You'll also see lots of videos about my daughter and her adventures, as she grows and learns to love life, despite all of its many challenges. She has Aspergers syndrome, and she is my miracle. To all of you brave friends out there, who are struggling to connect to an autistic family member, I am sending you all of my love and asking you to stay strong. There is hope!
