Hand feeding a pinky mouse to my Savannah Monitor

First hand feeding video for my baby Savannah Monitor 'Jables' (Varanus Exanthematicus). Hand feeding is a great way to help tame your monitor. If you want a puppy dog tame lizard, watch this video. I know first hand how friendly they can be once they get to know their owners. The younger they are when you start hand feeding, the better your results will be when they grow up! It's also a good idea to handle them on a pretty regular basis. Both of mine got/get handled almost daily for anywhere from about 15 to 45 minutes. They will learn quickly that you are not a predator and can become tame in as little as a few weeks. Outside time is great for them also if you have a leash, but be careful even my 3 year old sav would still hiss and whip her tail at me like she was a wild lizard haha.
