Blue Tongue Lizards are beautiful animals, have I found the baby Blue Tongue that I made a video about back in April 2014?

I also did a lizard sleeping song back than which has not been uploaded due to the many problems I have had with YouTube during 2014. It's possible the lizard in this video is the same female lizard from 9 months ago, she's about double the size now. Because I'm not a lizard expert I'm not certain, possibly the lizard loving audience will know. My son loved looking at this Blue Tongue which got so excited seeing Thomas The Tank she did a huge smelly poop LOL. Or maybe it was the excitement of being near mega film star Godzilla that got the best of her. While looking over this beautiful lizard I noticed what seems to be a large tick, not knowing anything about ticks on lizards I decided to do a surgical removal of this nasty parasite. As my daughter found out this was not an easy tick removal so I assisted and hopefully did the right thing for the Blue Tongue lizard. The best thing about reptiles is how pre-historic they look, it's not difficult to imagine this lizard existing when dinosaurs roamed the planet. Blue Tongues are very strong and robust animals, they can move very fast and can give a very nasty bite if your not careful.
It's very common to see these lizards in Sydney / Australian backyards, they tend to stay in the same area (like a free roaming pet) and will feed on snails, beetles and vegetation. But you never see these lizards during winter, they seem to just vanish once the cooler weather hits after April (remember Australia has the opposite weather than the Northern Hemisphere). One thing I have found is the bath time squirter toys seem to cast a spell over these lizards, I'm not sure if it's the noise or the small puff of air around the nose which they seem to enjoy. Anyway it's fun stuff to do on YouTube, and my kids love seeing the lizards.
