Me an the kids caught some fish so after cleaning them we fed them to Zuki our own pet lap Dragon. ( Savannah Monitor ). So just goes to show you do not.. have to feed your exotics expensive store bought food every time-variety is the key for most any pet.I do suggest you purchase reptivite or some other good vita.min supplement however to insure reptillian health. If you decide to feed fish heads or even whole fish to your monitor id suggest gutting them and checking the mouth for hooks first. Fish as feeders also have the extra advantage of offering most all nutritional requirements for many animals and even plants.
