Frilled dragons are native to the northern parts of Australia as well as Papua New Guinea, where they spend the vast majority of their lives in the trees.
When making a reptile enclosure for any species such as a frilled dragon or bearded dragon the goal is of course to replicate their natural environment where possible.
To Do this we started with a tall enclosure as due to their aboreal lifestyle they enjoy tall vertical branches. We also constructed a waterfall out of expanding foam to raise the humidity and stimulate the frillneck lizards to drink, and providing lighting with a 10.0 UBV bulb and two 100W bulbs from Exo Terra
